Food For Thought
My fellow public responce brother Nelson Johnson at MPD wrote this .Hope this serves as a wake up call to people out there. Drive SAFELY and CAREFULLY please!
"In my 17 years in MPD, I haven't heard of or seen any single accident losing so many people at one time, I'm numb. I can't imagine what the families are going through......that's why I always end my posts, asking you take care of one another, cause if we don't, no one else will. If this tragic tragic incident isn't a wake up call, I don't know what is. This a wake up call, not for a week, month or even a year, this is a lesson for life. Our life, your life, you neighbors life........please, I ask you be responsible, the life you save may be your own......take care of one another..........One love"
When under the unfluence of drugs and/or liquor, please DO NOT DRIVE. You put not only yourself others in DANGER when committing this act. 6 People total have died in Kula as a result of this. I'm not trying to be harsh or anything. My heart too is hurting as a result of their actions. I can't imagine what the families are going through right now. As I said earlier, hope this serves as a wake up call. We have already reached 10 deaths this year due to stupid and dangerous acts performed by people on the roadways. We only had 3 this same time last year. To all the teens who may read this, PLEASE BE SAFE and STOP who ever it maybe trying to drive intoxicated (Liquor/Drugs or a mix of the two). If they don't STOP when you ask them to and they just drive off, call 911. it's that simple! You will be very thankful when you do.

The Sirens Gig Schedule for March and April
Aloha Sirens Fans:
As requested I'm posting their gig schedule here for you.
They play every Saturday at Mulligans on the Blue in Wailea at 6:30 till 9 PM.
Pending if any other venues book them, we will let you know. For now they only play once a week.

Just thought I'd give you her schedule of gigs, locations, dates, and times. She has been playing a lot in South Maui. Also been recieving a lot of questions on when she plays, so per your requests here is the schedule starting on Sundays ending Saturdays.
Sunday: Dog and Duck at 5:30 till 8:30 PM.
Monday: No Gigs Scheduled for now (Subject To Change)
Tuesday: South Shore Tiki Lounge at 4 till 6 PM.
Wednesday: Lulus Kihei at 7 till 9 PM.
Alternate Wedesday: Dog and Duck at 10 PM till Close (With either Margie Heart or Shawn Michael as her guest performer)

What's On My Mind.
Well as you all know by now, you've seen my mood swings in writing especially during the holiday seasons and on certain days. I just want to let you all know that I'd much rather vent it out and get it out of my system before I become an object of raging negative energy. I don't ever want anyone to see that side of me.
On Valentines Day that day really makes me depressed and all and I express it in writing. It's always been that way since Valentines Day in 2004. Being in social media helps a tad bit, but chilling with people and getting my mind off of stuff helps me out more.
In the Socialnomics youtube clip it shows about how people hook up through social media and through other means online. I thought I had that chance when I met someone else on a social site called Stickam. I will not name her, but to this very day I still care about her well being and all. Wish stuff worked out more. I really do. Working so hard and getting so little doesn't help either.
Everyone I have met either online and or IRL, I care about each and every single one of you. That is how much of a heart I have. I know a lot of people in my social networks are either married or in relationships with others. I have even met people's husbands/boy friends and have become close friends with them too and vise versa. Your friends think I'm trying to pick up on your wives is NOT true what so ever. I'm getting so sick and tired of hearing it in certain places.
Some people think my kindess is fake. You can ask people in my social networks and they will tell you otherwise. Just getting so sick and tired of being hated on by people and being brought down. I know I don't have the body like Tom Cruise or Jackie Chan, but you folks need to see what is in the inside too.

My LGBT Posts and Rant.
I know some of you have been seeing me posting more on Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, and Transgendered (LGBT) stuff in my social networks now days. Laurie Cicotello and other friends would be so proud of me posting this in protest to what has been going on with this stuff.
I may be straight, but I DO SUPPORT my fellow friends and co-workers who fit into these categories. I don't hate people for who they like. As a matter of fact, I'm an advocate of the NOH8 Campaign and support them fully for what they do. Why bash me through private messages and facebook chat on me supporting this cause? I do not get it.
In my honest opinion, the Government and Church NEED not interfere with or dictate who gets married to who. You make me SICK to my stomach and hey, if YOU fit into any of these categories, maybe YOU need to speak out about it.
I'm grateful that President Obama has written off Shrub's "Don't Ask Don't Tell Policy" That was a LOAD of bull crap and glad it got thrown out. Now if only President Obama would CONCIDER LISTENING to the LGBT community and help us make laws in protecting us.
I've been reading up on a lot more suicides happening due to this Un Civil move by the US Government and various church groups from around the nation. These people are just as likely to get bullied and mortally wounded because these people WHO WE PAY HAVE FAILED in listening like they said they would. That is a BREACH in Public Trust and the oath YOU swore when taking office or your public response departments. All of these agencies around the nation need to LISTEN to us (Police Departments, Sheriff's Offices, Ranger Stations, Fire Departments, school administrators, school governing boards, the various Departments of Education in all states, the federal Government, county and state governments around this country.) YOU HAVE FAILED to hear both sides of the story and allowed this to happen with your religeous beliefs and your personal beliefs. SHAME ON YOU! WE PAY TAXES TO PAY YOU AND THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT US?! COME ON NOW!!
All in All THE GOVERNMENT AND RELIGEOUS GROUPS HAVE NO SAY IN WHO GETS MARRIED OR WHO GETS DENIED. STAND YOUR GROUND AND FIGHT THIS. IF IT TAKES A LONG TIME SO BE IT. THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS TO HELL WITH THE GOVERNMENT AND RELIGEOUS GROUPS WHO OPPOSE THIS! SHAME ON YOU FOR NOT ALLOWING THIS STUFF AND FOR NOT STEPPING IN TO PUT AN END TO THIS DISCRIMNATION AND FOR ALLOWING PEOPLE TO KILL THEM SELVES BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T HEAR THEM OUT AND JUST SHUT THEM OUT AND TURNED YOUR BACKS ON THEM.
